“Gauguin’s Cat” is a parody of Paul Gauguin’s “Still Life with Three Puppies.”

A cat sneaks in to shae the puppies’ milk. My version shows how Gauguin’s painting would have looked if he had lived with my cat George who is always on the prowl for something to eat.

From my Cats and Great Artists series which explores how masterpieces of art might have turned out if the artists lived with my cats. — Deborah Julian
