Time, a Members Group Show at Gallery RIVAA

With Contributions from The Child School

Time, a RIVAA Members Exhibit, opened Saturday at the 527 Main Street Gallery. Art from students at The Child School added nicely to the members’ work. Take a look on us, but see the show, up until January, in person, if you can.

Molto Brutto, a mixed media composition greets visitors at the door. Time opened on Saturday, November 16th, at RIVAA’s 527 Main Street gallery on Roosevelt Island.

A colorful outburst of creativity, Jim Pignetti’s Molto Brutto set a lively tone. It’s hung just behind the front desk, impossible to miss as you enter.

Time RIVAA Members Exhibit Continues With A Message

Circle of Light, a watercolor photo, sends an embracing message for all visitors.
With In the Age of Deer, Ioan Popoiu extends his mastery of abstract art on a large canvas with acrylics.

Earlier this year, Popoiu’s As the Footsteps Fall became the first art exhibit at the Tata Innovation Center on the Cornell Tech campus.

Without fail, Piotr Olszewski’s photos remind us to look harder and see more in everyday life.
Ana Martinez Orizondo’s Sea of Dragonflies evokes a multilayered surrealism.
Anne-Marie Dannenberg’s photo, The Old Stairs, Spain, is lyrical, a meditation on time and aging.
Time & Garden #1, an oil on canvas by Toshiko Kitano Groner, shows us that one of our favorite artists has not lost her touch for color and composition.

Time, the RIVAA members exhibit, with The Child School taking part, remains on display through the rest of 2019.
