In Naples Child, Deborah Julian’s slice of life picture, we see an indelible moment in time.
In a side alley in Naples, italy, a girl vies for possession of a broom handle along a narrow residential lane, just off the main drag.
“On a walk in a neighborhood in Naples, Italy, I found the subject for this little girl wrestling with a teasing adult over possession of a push broom in one of the city’s brightly colored alleys. Another man encourages the play.”
In older neighborhoods in Naples, families occupy the same homes for generations along crowed lanes. Their shops line the street level, and living quarters are upstairs. Naples retains traditional lifestyles in which generations share their lives enhanced by their close proximity.
Naples Child is an 8 1/2 X 11 inch *giclee fine art print. This artist does all of her own printing on Archival Epson Papers. Every print is signed on the white border beneath the image or on the back.
(Giclée is the process for reproducing fine art photography from a digital source, typically using 8-Color to 12-Color ink-jet printers. The quality of the giclee print is excellent-superior in color and detail. Giclée prints are the standards found in museums and art galleries. Image quality for all of street photography is guaranteed by me.)
