It’s not usual for New York City. A bird’s eye view of a quiet courtyard on Roosevelt Island. It comes with a story.

Morning Light

Morning Light is an urban landscape. Looking down from a hidden perch, like a bird on a ledge. A man crosses a courtyard in autumn, approaching a set of stairs. Golden brown leaves pile up on deep green grass, and you look down through a series of blue balconies to a play of light and shadow.

*I usually don’t stage urban landscapes or street photography, but I asked my husband to walk through the space below. He reluctantly agreed, but before he got there, another man, the one in the picture, walked through instead.

(*Giclée is a process for reproducing fine are photography from a digital source, typically using 8-Color to 12-Color ink-jet printers. The quality of the giclée print is excellent-superior in color and detail. Giclée prints are the standards found in museums and art galleries. Image quality for all prints is guaranteed by me.)
