I shot Racing the Storm NYC as small craft rushed south in the East River, a scary thunderstorm overhead. Black clouds ready to eat up Manhattan and the boats along with it.
As frightening as that storm was from indoors, I can’t imagine how intimidating it must have looked to boats racing away to get away from it.
Racing the Storm NYC was selected by the jury for Professional Women Photographers’ group exhibit, Whims of Weather, at the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park in May, 2015.
