I shot Racing the Storm NYC when small craft rushed south in the East River, escaping a scary looking thunderstorm. Black clouds looked like they were ready to eat up Manhattan and the boats along with it.
As impressive as that storm was from indoors in a high-rise, I can just imagine how intimidating it must have looked to boats running away to get away from it.
Racing the Storm NYC was selected by the jury for Professional Women Photographers’ group exhibit, Whims of Weather, at the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park in May, 2015.
